Okay, here is my blog post about my experience with the OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch:
So, I finally pulled the trigger on that OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch, the one with the open case back. You know, the one you can see all the guts and gears working away? Yeah, that one. I’d been eyeing it for like, forever, and I finally just went for it. And let me tell you, it was quite a journey.
First, I spent hours, days even, just looking at pictures and videos online. I mean, who doesn’t love a good wrist shot, right? I compared different models, read tons of reviews, and watched countless videos. It was intense! But hey, this is a big purchase. You gotta do your homework.
The next thing I did was find an authorized dealer. I wanted to make sure I was getting the real deal, no fakes for this guy. I called around, asked about availability, and eventually found the perfect spot. They had the exact model I wanted, and they were super cool about answering all my crazy questions.
Then came the big day. I went down to the dealer, heart pounding like a drum. I tried on the watch, and bam, it was love at first sight. It felt amazing on my wrist, the perfect weight, the perfect size. I walked around the store, checking it out from every angle. Yeah, I was that guy. It was magical! All the parts moving together like some well-oiled machine, super cool.
After that, it was just paperwork. I signed the papers, paid the money, and walked out of there with a huge grin on my face. I couldn’t wait to get home and just stare at it for hours. I know, I’m a total watch nerd.

Wearing it Every Day: I’ve been wearing this watch every single day since I got it. To work, to the grocery store, even just lounging around the house. It’s like an extension of my arm now, and I just love it.

Admiring the Movement: Okay, I’ll admit, I spend way too much time just looking at the movement through the open case back. It’s mesmerizing! I mean, how cool is it that you can see all those tiny parts working together? I find myself just staring at it, completely lost in thought. My wife thinks I’m nuts, but I don’t care.

Feeling Like a Part of History: It is pretty cool to wear a piece of history, I love the feeling when I think about the history. Knowing that this watch has been to the moon, it’s just… I don’t know, it’s special. And with the open case back, it feels even more connected to that legacy. I know that is a bit weird but it is how I feel, what can I say.
So yeah, that’s my story. Getting the OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch with the open case back was a dream come true. It was a long process, but totally worth it. And now, I get to enjoy this beauty every single day. If you’re on the fence about getting one, I say go for it! You won’t regret it.
