Oh, honey, you won’t believe what I saw the other day! This fancy bag, they call it the CopyFendi Daning Peekaboo ISeeU Small Bag. Now, I ain’t one for those highfalutin names, but this bag, it caught my eye. It’s like somethin’ out of a movie, you know? But is it like the ones in the official flagship store? That’s what everyone’s askin’.
I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it. They say this Fendi, it’s a big deal. They make all sorts of things, fancy clothes and shoes and whatnot. This bag, though, it’s somethin’ special. They call it “Peekaboo” cause it’s got this little flap you can push down, shows you what’s inside. Like a little secret, kinda cute, I reckon.
This one gal, she was sayin’ she went to the Fendi website, you know, that online store thing. And she couldn’t find this amber color one, with the shiny gold things, the hardware. She said they had some other colors, like taupe or light tan, but not this one, not the ISeeU Small in amber. This amber is a nice color. The color of the honey I sell at the stand.
Now, I seen all sorts of colors for this bag. One was green, like the leaves on my old apple tree, made of that calfskin they talk about. They said it was all fancy, with these little woven bits, all the same color. Green. Inside, nothin’ fancy, just plain. They call it “unlined.” I guess some folks like that.
Then there’s this other one, shiny like a new penny. They call it “champagne-colored.” Made of that same calfskin, but shiny this time. And it’s got those woven bits too, but they use this other kind of leather, soft like a baby’s bottom. Nappa, they call it. This one’s got some linin’ inside, but not all the way. “Partially lined,” they say.
- Champagne-colored metallic calfskin
- Hand-crafted interlacing
- Soft nappa leather
- Partially lined interior
And get this, there’s another one, gray like a dove. They use this special leather, call it “Cuoio Romano.” Sounds fancy, don’t it? It’s got that bumpy look, like the skin on an old orange. They say it’s natural. Well, I guess so.
Then they got this beige one, plain and simple. Made of that calfskin again. They say this Peekaboo bag, it’s like that game kids play, showin’ off the outside, hidin’ the inside. I guess that’s kinda clever. But I prefer what’s inside to be as good as what’s outside. I like honest bags.
They say these Fendi bags, especially these Peekaboo ones, they cost a pretty penny. More than I make sellin’ my jams and jellies in a whole year! They say it’s ’cause of the good stuff they use, and how they make ’em. All that fancy work, I suppose. This Silvia woman, she’s the one who thought up this bag. They say she’s in charge of all the fancy bits at Fendi.
Fendi, it’s a big company, from Italy. Started way back, in 1925, by some folks named Edoardo and Adele. They’re famous for their fur, and these leather things. And this Peekaboo bag, it’s been around since 2008. So, not new, but still a big deal, I guess.
But is this CopyFendi bag the same as the real deal? I don’t know, sugar. Looks pretty close to me. Some folks say the gold parts look a little too yellow. Some say the real Fendi is a little different color. I guess you gotta see it up close to really know. But what I know is, for the money these folks are askin’ for these bags, it better be good. Real good. Like my apple pie, good from the first bite to the last crumb.
One girl, she bought two of these Iseeyou bags! Two! A small one and a tiny one, a petite, they call it. She couldn’t decide which one she liked better. Said she wanted it for special times, not for every day. Me, I just use my old tote bag for everything.
CopyFendi or real Fendi, it’s all a bit much for me. But I guess if you got the money, and you like fancy things, this Peekaboo bag might be just the thing. Just make sure you know what you’re gettin’, honey. Don’t want no surprises, ‘specially when you’re payin’ that much!
