Okay, so I’ve been eyeing this Jaeger-LeCoultre JLC Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar for a while now. You know, the one that’s supposed to be a classic and all that. I finally pulled the trigger and got one, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey.
First off, I started digging around to see which version to get. Heard a bunch of folks online talking about the ZF and GF versions being the top dogs. There were also some mentions of YLF and AZF, but those didn’t seem as popular. So I started comparing these ZF and GF, reading through tons of comments and stuff.
Then, I started looking at the actual watch. I noticed the case is 40mm, and it’s not too thick, around 11mm I think. It’s got this shiny finish on the top, the lugs, and the back. Looks pretty slick, I gotta say. I don’t care about the tourbillon function.
After I got it, I started wearing it around. It’s definitely comfortable.
Now, about whether it’s worth the money, some people say this watch is going to be a collector’s item, and the price will just keep going up. I’m not really sure about that, but I figured it’s a good watch, it should last me a long time, and it does look pretty darn good on my wrist.
Here’s a quick rundown of what I did:
- Researched different versions (ZF, GF, etc.).
- Checked out the watch’s specs (size, finish).
- Bought the watch.
- Wore it around to see how it felt.
So, that’s my story of getting the JLC Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar. It was a bit of a process, but I’m happy with my purchase. We’ll see if it really does become more valuable over time, but for now, I’m just enjoying wearing it.
