Okay, so, a while back, I got this idea to try and make a high-end replica of a Rolex Submariner, the green one, you know, the classic style. I’ve always been a fan of how these watches look, but let me tell you, getting a real one is tough and expensive. So, I thought, why not try to make one myself? A high imitation one, of course.

Then I came across something about the Hamilton Khaki Navy. It’s supposed to be a good alternative to the Submariner, but I don’t know, it just didn’t have the same vibe, you know?
So, I decided to go ahead with my plan. I started gathering the materials, which was a whole other adventure. Finding parts that looked like the real deal wasn’t easy. I had to do a lot of searching and comparing. And let me tell you, there are a lot of bad replicas out there. You really have to watch out for those.
I spent days, maybe even weeks, just trying to get the parts right. I had to learn a lot about how these watches are put together, the different parts, the mechanisms, all that stuff. It was a lot more complicated than I thought it would be.

Some Personal Thoughts
I always used the sun to tell the time. And when the rooster crows, that’s when you get up. But I can see why folks like these things. They’re pretty, I guess. And they make you feel important. I don’t know if I’ll ever wear it out, but it’s a nice thing to have. And who knows, maybe this story about the high imitation Rolex New Green Submariner Classic Style, it’s gonna be told for a long time. So, if you’re thinkin’ about gettin’ one of these imitation Rolexes, just be prepared for a lot of work. It’s not easy, but it’s definitely an interesting project.
